UND Aerospace operates six Warrior Flight Training Devices. The FTDs complement training provided in the Piper Warrior in the Private, Instrument, and Flight Instructor courses.
The Warrior FTDs have a visual database containing every airport in the United States. This means that students can conduct training anywhere from isolated mountain airports to the nation's busiest commercial airports.
