Our primary goal at UND Flight Operations is to "provide the highest standard of professional aviation education at a reasonable cost to the student." Yet, at the same time, our role is to coach, counsel and mentor young men and women to become leaders within the worldwide aviation community. A significant element in this education process is to provide a vision for each student so that they can see what the future holds for them. Our challenge is to translate that vision into reality. A vision must have a positive orientation - that orientation is guided by core values.

Core values are much more than a minimum standard. They remind us what it takes to get the job completed. They inspire us to do our very best at all times. I would like to share Flight Operation's core values with you.

Last, have fun - enjoy the experience of flying. Many people think that flying is dangerous. Yet, if we are going to get anywhere in life, we must take risks venturing into the unknown. Life is about adventure, not maintenance.
