UND Aerospace, which includes the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota and the UND Aerospace Foundation, is an international leader in collegiate and contract aviation education. With more than 120 aircraft conducting over 100,000 hours of flight training per year, UND Aerospace is one of the largest flight schools in the world.

Included in UND's fleet are 9 helicopters. Helicopter training is available to students for college credit. Flight training in helicopters can replace the airplane course requirements in each of the four-year degree options available at UND.

UND also supports a Helicopter Flight Training Program in conjunction with the Army ROTC. This program can provide financial aid while you are in flight train with the Army ROTC. For more information about the UND's HFTP, click here.

UND conducts contract flight training in helicopters as well(not a part of a college degree program). This training is available depending on the need of the individual or agency in an on-demand basis.
