Odegard Hall

Odegard HallThe first of four buildings in the Center for Aerospace Sciences west campus complex, Odegard Hall offers many advanced features to it's faculty and students. In addition to the center's administrative offices, Odegard Hall is occupied by the faculty and support staff from the Departments of Aviation and Atmospheric Sciences.

Odegard Hall is also home to several specialized research laboratories and instructional facilities, including the following:

  • The Aerospace Physiology Lab, which uses an Altitude Chamber to teach the effects of hypoxia, and a Vertigon trainer to study the effects of spatial disorientation.

  • The Regional Weather Information Center, an operational and research facility designed to give students hands-on training in contemporary meteorology.

  • The Arthur P. Anderson Atmospherium, a 200-seat planetarium and lecture bowl with a variety of sophisticated multimedia projection systems.
