Clifford Hall
Dedicated in May of 1992, Clifford Hall is the newest building in the Center for Aerospace Science's west campus complex. It was constructed to establish an Earth Systems Science Institute, and supports this interdisciplinary study of Earth systems and how they interact. Clifford Hall offers these facility highlights:
The first floor is occupied in large part by computing facilities, including a 360 degree ATC Simulator.
The second floor is home to the Scientific Computing Center, professional analysts, technicians, operators, and support personnel who perform academic research, administrative, and support functions.
A second floor Help Desk is available to provide student, faculty, and staff with hardware and software problem resolution support.
Also located on the second floor is the Auditorium utilized for a variety of functions.
The third floor houses the Department of Geography at UND.
The Department of Atmospheric Sciences resides on the fourth floor.
The fifth floor is home to the Space Studies department, including classrooms, faculty and administrative offices.
The sixth floor of Clifford Hall houses the radar operations of the Atmospheric Sciences department.
