UND Residence Halls

UND Residence HallsUND has 15 residence halls grouped into three complexes, each with their own services including dining and computer labs.

"Fitting in" is something that every incoming student can relate to. Everyone wants to make friends and fit in when they start. A great way to ease the transition from high school or another campus to UND, is to live on-campus. Living on campus provides a unique opportunity to meet people and make friends on a daily basis. Although staying in residence halls is not required, it is strongly encouraged for the first 1-2 years.

Living in the residence halls provides many opportunities for development of friendships and personal growth. UND has a solid network of nationally recognized residence hall staff who are there to help guide students and assist in developing a positive living environment.

Our housing staff hosts more than 1,000 special activities designed to enhance the interaction among residence hall students. These events range from fun activities, such as dances and our annual Moonlight Breakfast (complete with a comedian), to group discussions of current social and educational issues.

The UND residence hall staff is comprised of people dedicated to fostering the out-of-classroom education and life lessons for all hall students. They are highly-trained individuals who provide support for students when they need it.
